Did you know that Breweries were a staple in Loudoun County long before modern Ale Trails and weekend winery visits? Join the Loudoun Museum for our 1758 Proof tour of Downtown Leesburg, spanning 300 years of the storied history of Brewing, Taverns, and Alcohol in Loudoun! The tour covers taverns and ordinaries during the Early Republic period, the controversies and conspiracies surrounding spirits into the Prohibition era, and the modern state of brewing in Loudoun.
Tour lasts approximately 1 hour, beginning at the Loudoun Museum. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the tour.
