Learn about local Loudoun art and create your own!
Join Loudoun Museum and Leesburg-based art store CRAFT for a fun afternoon of learning and making. This program will start at Loudoun Museum with an outdoor walking tour of Leesburg’s public art, lasting about 40 minutes rain or shine. Then explore the Loudoun Museum’s newest art exhibit Impressions: Celebrating Loudoun County Art. Conclude this experience on upper floor of Loudoun Museum for light refreshments and a history-inspired art project designed by CRAFT and Loudoun Museum. This program is open to all ages, and no prior art-making experience is required.
The history-inspired art project will be hand-colorizing historic images. This fun and relaxing project lets you get creative and bring home a piece of history!
Please note that the ticket for “Children 4 and under” does not include an art project. If you'd like an art project for them, please purchase a ticket.
This program is rain or shine! The upper floor of the museum is only accessible by stairs.
